The birth details are as follows: 20 Dec 1949; 07-15 AM; Dhule; 20N54; 74E47.

Native was under Moon/Mercury period from April 1984 to Sept 1985.

In the chart Moon is in star of Ketu who is placed in 10^th house. Moon is in sub of Jupiter who is placed in 2^nd house hence dasa is favorable to get job.

 Bhuktilord Mercury is lord of 10^th and in star of Venus who is placed in 2^nd house. Mercury is in sub of Jupiter (in actual when we cast it is in Rahu sub) who is in 2^nd house will be able to give him job.

 Sun transit in Cancer sign, Mercury star will be around July. So he will get the job in July 1985.

My guruji has not seen antara as the period is for one years. So he checked Sun transit.

 He has chosen Sun transit in Cancer sign; Mercury star as dasa/bhukti of Moon/Mercury was in progress.

 He selected Venus sub as it is lord of 10^th house at 21 degree and predicted July 1989 period.

 But his prediction was not for promotion but for transfer.

The native got transfer in same month.

 I asked him why he has not got promotion when it is indicate promotion.

 He simply says due to Moon dasa he will not get promotion as Moon is satellite of Earth and not the planet.

 Further he quoted one incidence about prediction made by KSK.

 KSK predicted for Mr Moraraji Desai that you will become Deputy Chief Minister and not Chief Minister as he is under Moon dasa. In actual Mr Morarji Desai was selected as DCM.

 But Mars signifies 6^th house on star level will be helpful for to get the job.

 I advised him to remove Emerald- Diamond and asked him to wear Coral who is used for Mars.

 As per my advice he removed Venus and Mercury stones and wear Coral.

Later he informed me that he got the job in June 2013.

 By removing unnecessary stones and wearing the correct gem has benefitted him or not is a debatable issue.

 In the chart Jupiter signifies 11-7 houses but Sun and Rahu are in conjunction delays the matter. Neptune also aspect 7^th cusp indicate more delay.
